In the late 1990s I needed to learn the new 3D Studio Max Windows and since all the famous ships had been done in the DOS version I opted to render the blue prints that came with the Gold Master of Boston's Don't Look Back. The first render was shoddy to put it mildly but Boston fans ate it up so I continued working on the ship. All previous renders were done mostly in 3D so I never felt this image was really done. But over time and thanks to the band having me do the Hyper Space Tour projects, my 2D skills improved greatly. Finally I felt I could give this rendering the love it deserved and after many hours working in both 3D and Photoshop I think this maybe the final rendering. It's far better than any Boston image I have done. And it's all for the fans.
