Sometimes things just seem to work out to put you in the right place at the right time. A traffic jam in Yosemite Valley isn't uncommon which is why we avoid weekends in the park. We thought we'd be safe on a Tuesday but alas we were stuck in the worst traffic jam this year. We were headed home due to the storm worsening but just as we were about to get out of the traffic the sun broke through. The parking area was oddly empty and we made a dash for it. Perfect timing doesn't always get planned.
