One of the most common birds we see in Yosemite is the Raven. They are very large birds and sport a beautiful iridescent black suit of feathers. They are inquisitive, quite intelligent as birds go and you often find them soaring high above the canyon. I’ve often wondered if they are simply enjoying the stunning views. This one lacked any fear as we came up on him and just gazed back at me and my camera. Clearly he was looking for food but I obey the rules and do not feed the animals in the park. While filming him, someone pulled up in front of us and started chucking food out the window their car he was off to get a handout.
