DC-10 Tanker Drop - Willow Fire 2015
The much closer spotter plane is dwarfed by the distant DC-10 Tanker as it battles the Willow Fire just south of Bass Lake, California. Glowing in the sunset they made one last drop coming through the binding smoke to hit the target spot on. Incredible airmanship by these amazing pilots.
