The Willow Fire sends out rays of light from deep in the recesses of the burning canyons just south of Bass Lake, California. The moonlit night illuminates the smoke that lingers in the nearby canyon as starlight dances in the sky high above the fires. Shooting at night brings on a whole different feel than the first days raging flames. The soft glow from flare ups provides the majority of light as the moon softly creates a glow on the smoke.
