Soaring above Willow Fire
Soaring above the Willow Fire the birds seem undaunted but the raging fire and aircraft that enter their airspace. The forest turns red from retardant drops. Looking more like a painting than a photograph this shot was taken on the first day of the Willow Fire just south of Bass Lake, California.
