San Francisco always puts on a great fireworks show for the 4th of July. This year it might have been dwarfed by the 75th anniversary celebration of the Golden Gate Bridge but none the less it was a spectacular show to celebrate the nations 236th birthday. In this shot a massive Red White and Blue burst illuminates the fog and dwarfs the skyscrapers of San Francisco's skyline. With some luck, we managed to get one of San Francisco's favorite landmarks , Coit Tower, right in the rocket streams and managed to keep the Transamerica Tower with its bright twinkling light in the shot.
