The wonders of this world cannot be understated and no image does them justice. I can only try to give you a small sense of the experience. To visit a river in Autumn is to find natures mirror perfectly reflecting the landscape. The nip in the air, the yellow leaves that put out a wonderful earthy fragrance. An early storm darkens the normally fall blue skies as the day ends far too soon only to light it up with a rainbow as the sun sets in clear skies to the West. To visit here is incredible, wonderous, stunning all the senses and more than even John Muir could put in to words though he perhaps did far better than I can. To live nearby is a blessing I relish as often as I can. Yosemite is one of the true wonders of the world we live in, and as it happens, my home by no accident. I have been there thousands of times and it’s still on my bucket list to visit. Here is to hoping for a deep bucket.
