Oh how I do wish it would last a full hour. It is beautiful while it does last and the clouds seem to soak up that rich golden color from the sun. About this time, the sheriff breaks the silence and turns on their sirens and makes a loop around the lake indicating that the day skiing and tubing is done and the 5 mph speed limit is in effect. The boats typically head for shore which allows the water to calm and the reflections to intensify. It’s the perfect time of day. Not too hot and not too cold though this day was the exception and it was still quite warm. Perfect for a day on the lake.
