The first fireworks of the 2012 provided a wide variety of very unique patterns. This one that seemed to zig-zag rockets across the sky at 90 degree angles was quite spectacular it illuminated the skyline of downtown San Francisco. There were a number of other patterns including smiley faces, hearts, cubes and more. Fireworks are a fascinating art form and you have to have a lot of respect for the people that create these incredible works of art.
