Happy New Year for 2014. This shot is obviously from a previous year but I hope to be out getting more great shots this year and wanted to get the jump on it and wish you all the best for the year to come. Wow, 2014 already. Seems like 2013 went by really fast. The shot was taken from the top of Yerba Buena Island looking towards the San Francisco skyline. The view is stunning but the drop down the cliff in front of you is a bit unnerving. You have to arrive very early to get a spot as this location has limited space. But what a wonderful view of the Embarcadero as fireworks light up the sky next to the famous Bay Bridge. Boats crowd the bay near the fireworks adding extra light of their own. One of my all time favorite places.
