Red, White and Blue shells burst over San Francisco during the 2012 New Years Eve celebration as seen from atop Yerba Buena Island. Last year I spent most of my New Years day sitting in the dirt atop a cold wind blown cliff on just above the Bay Bridge on Yerba Buena Island. I came away with so many great shots of the fireworks, the city and the beautiful Bay Bridge and these remain some of my most popular shots.
