Fall colors continued to be revealed around each corner and bend in the road. Crossing several streams and a river provided some striking scenery high in the Sierra just of the main road known as Sonora Pass. We very much wanted to stay longer and find more of these little hidden jewels which are strewn throughout the Sierra Nevada but it was at last, time to head back. And so this little dirt road out in the country began to take us down our path back to the city of San Francisco.
