Walking down the road looking over the creek I chanced to look behind me and saw Mt. Baldwin rising high above McGee Creek Road. The Autumn colors and deep clean blue sky complementing the reds of mountain rocks. Mt. Baldwin rises to over 12,600 feet and is often has some snow on it year round however the recent drought has melted all the snow with the exception of a few crevasses you can just make out on the left side. The color at this time is quite nice but with high winds this week may not leave much time left.
