Winter grudgingly left Yosemite's High Country this year with one last storm dropping a touch of snow on the highest peaks of the Sierra Nevada a few days prior to the 4th of July weekend. None of the snow would stick but sheets of ice still covered a good part Lake Tioga's crystal clear water.
