If you have been to Yosemite you know that no picture can quite compare to seeing the towering cliffs, stunning waterfalls, deep lush forest and vast tall grass meadows. But once you have visited, every image you see from the park will bring back those special feelings of awe and inspiration that is Yosemite. Whether you favor the mild flowing streams, the roar of the cascades or the silence of winter in the park you will find that special image in this gallery. We live near Yosemite now and as a result should be treating you to more and more Yosemite Landscapes so check back often.
A collection of images from my trips to the Eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains. Who says California doesn't have Autumn? California has everything. You just need to know where to look. One of my favorite trips is to travel up and down California's highway 395 which runs along the Easter Sierra. The landscape switches from high desert to lush alpine peaks covered in evergreens, lakes, streams, waterfalls and best of all, Fall Color. The area becomes packed with photographers during the Autumn months when the color sweeps down the mountains and explodes in to the valleys.
From the 4th of July to New Years eve fireworks are some of the most beautiful light shows to put to print. The best of all shows was the Golden Gate Bridge 75th Anniversary fireworks show. Over half a million people stood on the shores of San Francisco Bay to watch the show. Also included are images from San Francisco's New Year's Eve party. A spectacular show as seen from Yerba Buena Island looking towards the city by the Bay.
Nothing is more spiritual moving than a beautiful image of a lighthouse lighting the way. There are a number of lighthouses in California but the most impressive is Pigeon Point Lighthouse. Standing just north of Santa Cruz it’s 24 star-burst beams radiate to the horizon in possibly the most stunning view you will ever behold. There are a couple other lighthouse images in this gallery but most are of Pigeon Point Lighthouse. When printed for your wall, or your publication these look awesome and have that special significance of a guiding light.
On occasion, the image you want just cannot fit in to your lens no matter how wide it is. When that happens I take a number of shots and though a lot of work put them all together as one image. These images can be printed HUGE and will fit in unique areas in your home. I have one hanging above my stairs of the Bay Bridge.
Wildfires can be incredibly devastating and within minutes transform a landscape. Yet as with most of natures destructive forces one cannot deny the sheer beauty of a wildfire as it rages over a forest or reflects in a calm lake. While the fire destroys is also necessary to a healthy forest with subsequent years exploding in growth, meadows and wildfires where once pines dominated the scenery and there is an explosion of wildlife that makes use of the new food sources.
Each image in this gallery can be printed clearly at even the larger sizes and make for stunning artwork that will make you stop to look and ponder the incredible power of forest fires.
Back in 1976 a little rock band hit the scene simply named BOSTON. They were an instant success and still have one of the highest debuting albums of all time. The band was the brainchild of Tom Scholz and combined with the incredible voice of Brad Delp the debut album was one of the best selling debut albums of all time. Followed up by the album Don't Look Back solidified them as one of the best 70's Rock and Roll Bands.
Their signature album covers were that of a guitar starship with the city of Boston encased upon the back side of the guitar. The symbol became nearly as famous as the band and was featured on everything from black-light posters to belt buckles. Many of the items today are highly sought after collectables.
As an artist and fan I started working on a 3D version of the iconic starship just for fun. The fans helped encourage me to do more and each time the ship became a bit more refined.
The images you see here are high resolution and suitable for standard and yes, even extremely large fine art prints. Of course this means they will make awesome posters too. Some of the images have been featured on Boston album covers and others have been turned in to concert posters and the collectible concert t-shirts.

If you have never seen it, nothing can prepare you for the beauty of California’s Pacific Coast. You’ve no doubt seen the images of the crowded Southern California beaches but once you go North towards Big Sur the landscape changes in to rocky shores with intermittent sand beaches. The water becomes crystal clear, the waves like moving jewels. Small towns dot the coastline with art and history all their own. It’s more secluded and you can easily find yourself on a mile long beach with no one else around. The landscapes are some of the best the world has to offer. I’ve only been able to film a small part of Northern California’s coastline but it never ceases to surpass my expectations.
California is widely know for it's massive Redwood groves. There is the Coastal redwood, tallest of all trees and then there is the Sequoia Redwood, biggest of all trees. I have several of these photos hanging in my own home and they always attract attention.
