Famous for its tidal pools, wild life and spectacular sunsets Pacific Grove lies on the southern end of Monterey Bay. Just west of the famous Monterey Bay Aquarium and historic Cannery Row, Pinos Point provides a stunning view of the Pacific. The coast here is battered, warn and nearly always windswept but is one of the most spectacular sites along California's vast coast. It's one of the better vistas for spotting whales migrating along the coast.
