A Summer storm builds over Unicorn and Cathedral Peaks in the high Sierra Nevada Mountains. As a child Tuolumne Meadows was my playground where I would spend my Summer vacations. Such storms are common in the Summer months and I was drenched more than once before being able to make it back to camp to warm up and play games in the camper until the storm blew out usually in the late afternoon after which we would rush down to the river to catch a few fish for dinner. Days were spent hiking the various points of interest from Lyle Glacier to the Grand Canyon of the Tuolumne Meadows created memories that have lasted a lifetime. And I still cannot get enough of this place.
